Welcome to Kendal Midday Concert Club

The club presents fortnightly concerts in Kendal Town Hall on Wednesdays 13.00 - 14.00 from October to March.

Our concert season begins in October each year and continues till Easter, during which time twelve concerts are presented. Based in Kendal in the English Lake District, the club will commence its 75th season on October 3rd 2018, when the Allegri Quartet will play Wolf and Beethoven.

In addition to featuring well-established musicians, it has always been the Club's policy to invite outstanding young professional artists who are at the beginning of their careers, many of whom subsequently attain international status. We are sure you will find much of interest and you are assured of a warm welcome at any of our concerts.

The Season Ticket and Membership fee this coming season is £84 which gives admission to all 12 concerts. Please see membership details HERE. Single Concert Tickets can be obtained from noon at the Hall on the day of performance for £9.00/£10.00.

A Half-Season membership package is now available for £46 (a saving of £10 on individual tickets). It will be on sale at our concerts on 12th December and 9th January. This would make a delightfully original Christmas or New Year gift

We are delighted to announce that Bradley Creswick, a regular and beloved visitor to Kendal as leader of Royal Northern Sinfonia Orchestra and of RNSO ensembles at our lunchtime concerts, has agreed to become our new President in succession to the late Sir John Manduell. Please join us on 9th January 2019 to welcome Bradley in his new role when he will lead a string quintet from RNSO playing Mendelssohn and Dvorak.

Snack lunches are available in the Town Hall from 11.50 on concert days. This is an excellent way to meet other members. No reservations are required.
